Eligibility Requirements
Master’s Route
Candidates applying through the Master’s Route must:
• Hold a Master’s degree in Behavior Analysis or a related field.
• Complete 270 hours of IBAO-approved coursework (Required Educational Objectives – REOs).
• Complete 1,500 hours of supervised fieldwork.
• Complete 75 hours of supervision under an approved supervisor.
• Successfully complete the Candidate Skills Tests (CSTs).
• Successfully pass the IBA Certification Examination.
Experience Route
• Candidates applying through the Experience Route must:
• Hold a Bachelor’s degree in a related field.
• Complete 270 hours of IBAO-approved coursework (REOs).
• Complete 1,500 hours of supervised fieldwork.
• Complete 75 hours of supervision.
• Successfully complete the required Candidate Projects.
• Successfully complete the Candidate Skills Tests (CSTs).
• Successfully pass the IBA Certification Examination.
